GMA this morning had a doctor point out that we need meat/animal protein for brain and spinal cord development….its not the first time but I was amazed to hear the woman say that this morning!

Perhaps we need to be buying Allen Brothers for the politicians? that can’t seem to “get it”???? although I’d rather buy those for myself and my family <G>.

A translation smile

The main opponent of the seal hunt for years, the Humane Society of the United States is the subject of a lawsuit before the U.S. Federal Court
Accused of using methods that are usually associated with the mafia or other criminal groups, the Humane Society is also accused of illegally influenced the European Parliament. In a prosecution under the RICO anti-mafia law, the Humane Society is accused of having paid $ 190 000 for false testimony
These methods described as mafia were used against members of the European Parliament before the vote that imposed a boycott of seal products in Europe last year. One of the members of Denmark, Niels Busk, says he was threatened by the Humane Society if he did not vote for the boycott.

The alleged conduct of the Humane Society has been uncovered by the Center for Consumer Freedom (the Center for the freedom of American consumers).

David Martosko, director of the Research Center of U.S. consumers said they do not know how far these organizations have gone.

The philosophy of these animal groups is simple, says Martosko, all animals are people in the eyes of these groups, all seals are people, chickens, too.

David Martosko believes that a jury could put the Humane Society and its partners like the IFAW, the International Fund for Animal Welfare in bankruptcy.

The trial should begin in June

Eric did a great job on the translation.  But if you read the comments, you will note several favorite arguments from the HSUS playbook, including all the millions of dollars that CCF receives from the evil tobacco and alcohol industries.  This from the descendants of the French, who love their cigarettes and wine. Amazing.

Millions, huh? Someone should “show us the money”... my organization’s whole annual budget is less than what Wayne Pacelle puts into HSUS’s pension plan.

Well, since I’m all in favor of the evil tobacco and alcohol industries, what can I say…..I hope David’s right on being able to bankrupt them, couldn’t happen to a better bunch of liars and thieves!

Yahoo for CCF and Humanewatch and lets go after that Mafiatype crowd because they act like it on a daily basis, not just once or twice!

Great job, David and all you have working with you!!!  Thank you to all of you!

David keep up the good work or should I say keep on them I’m with you a 100%, I sent an e-mail to sub way I told them to click on to humanewatch for a week and they would learn alot about hsus and their associations.

I was just reading the link above concerning Subway. This is a very annoying quote from Subway ” we are working with our PARTNERS at HSUS” HSUS and SUBWAY are now using terms as partners.. Oh please Subway. Do you have any idea how that Organization has so far removed themselves from shelters and rescue organization in this country the Animal Welfare community does not even refer to the HSUS as partners! Please don’t let this organization fool you that they care about the animals.

Vegan Soapbox.  Would I be bold to suggest he might be anti-social with those of opposite views.  I’m just wondering because right next to his written piece is a trailer for the movie Bold Native.  I don’t think I would want this trailer of a violent animal rights terrorist next to my blog if I were trying to describe my harmonious lifestyle with all life.  I just don’t get it!

How does the Ellen DeGeneres show continue to get awards now that she co-owns a dog food company producing high quality (REAL meat) food?

Ah, well, guess that just shows what Ellen is really interested in; the almighty dollar (not animals) if she can promo for HSUS on her show while simultaneously hawking meat filled dog food.
