Wayne Pacelle’s comments on the potential ban of animals sales in San Fransisco appears to expose the game plan being used by animal rights groups like the HSUS to end animal ownership. It’s about the “first downs”, not the “touchdowns”.
Banning the sale of puppies and kittens would be the “first down” in the process of finally eliminating the ability for people to own pets (the touch down) and was pretty much stated as such by Wayne Pacelle. As he put it in the article ” With a broader ban, “I think you attract a set of additional opponents that sink an otherwise achievable goal.”
What will it take for people to learn that there is a concerted effort to take away the privilege of owning animals? These small changes in the laws are moving society ever closer to achieving the very goals the animals rights organizations want to achieve; the end of animal ownership. If we do not curtail this effort now, at some point it will be too late.
