Humane Bites #84: Every Letter Counts

Daily clippings culled from all over the electronic news world. (E-mail with submissions for tomorrow.)
- This HumaneWatcher took her thoughts about HSUS to hew newspaper's opinion page (how about you?)
- It’s not too late to ensure a deserving charity wins the eBay contest (we recommend the Save a Child's Heart Foundation)
- HSUS bigwig sells Maryland home for $600,000
- Just a thought: Maybe duped HSUS donors should file a false-advertising complaint
- Blogger: HSUS is anything but transparent when it comes to taking advantage of pet lovers
- Your Daily Shelter: Florida’s Alachua County Humane Society (Donate. Volunteer. Adopt.)
Comments
Why are you criticizing a HSUS employee for selling their house? What relevance does their home’s sale have to your blog?
Envoy to the Obama administration?????!! Well that explains a whole lot…..like Wayne’s complete and utter arrogance!!! Disgusting!
I read that Forkan no longer works for hsus. She retired after nearly 40 years of working for animals. what’s the big deal? Cheap shot and it looks like you’re coming close to the bottom of the barrel.
oh, one more thing…it’s a little misleading to say ‘a reporter found it of interest’. Technically it’s true, but it appeared in a REAL ESTATE publication/section reporting on area sales. Not exactly an expose.

$600,000 for a house, and it isn’t located on a golf course. What a ripoff.
