Humane Bites #75: Livestock producers know how to do more besides raise cattle
Daily clippings culled from all over the electronic news world. (E-mail me with submissions for next week.)
- Ohio Livestock Board works just fine without HSUS’s intrusion
- Fox Connecticut blogger asks how many dogs and cats could have been saved if HSUS priorities were different.
- HSUS seeks senior writer (Shockingly no “BS degree” is required)
- Ag blogger to crop farmers: HSUS won’t hurt just livestock producers
- Word about HSUS’s misleading fundraising practices are continuing to spread
- Your Daily Shelter: Connecticut’s The Animal Haven (Donate. Volunteer. Adopt.)

Where exactly is the story for “misleading fundraising practices”? I was unable to find it.

It is even more telling that their outreach for a writer states that “no knowledge of animal welfare is required.” Wow, I’d think if I were an employer who main focus was a certain topic, be that animal welfare or anything else, I would want someone with some knowledge of what we are all about before I’d want someone that has no knowledge of our mission. But then, we all know this isn’t about animal welfare…its about animal rights and control of our lives by the vegan radicals.
