The Weekly Watch #1: Re-spelling HSUS Using Only the Letters R-I-C-O
If you were reading HumaneWatch all week, you learned ...
- HSUS and two of its lawyers were named in a RICO (racketeering) lawsuit for allegedly funneling money to a witness in federal court.
- A full-page HumaneWatch ad in The New York Times gave HSUS some heartburn. (If you want leaflets for your legislators, shooting range, or grocery store, here’s a smaller copy.)
- Pilot Travel Corp has become "Yellow Fail 2.0." (Who will be next?)
- An anonymous 244-page backgrounder, now affectionately called “The HSUS X-Files,” turn up in the anonymous dropbox. (Trust no one? But we WANT to believe ... )
- That sneaky WSB-TV exposé on HSUS from last May is still alive—on a video website in Iran.
- A young Wayne Pacelle had some not-so-nice things to say about hunters.
Come back soon for more truth-telling, research-sharing, and analysis of America's richest animal rights group!

Whilst HSUS is not a classic fake charity in the sense that they don’t receive large amounts of money from the tax payer in order to spew their propaganda, it is only a small step and mentally, they seem to be already ‘there’. See http://fakecharities.org/ for comparison—whether they get tax money or not, they all have the same ‘business model’ it seems, which is to pay their staff incredibly generously.
All those leeches give the noble concept of charity a very bad name, maybe it’s time to demand that charity is truly charitable and that anyone involved in them should not benefit in any way whatsoever.
How about a copy of the ad we can have printed at poster size (24x36) for places like our businesses?
This site was long overdue. Thank God you finally came along.
Food producers have been playing defense for too long. It’s time to take the offensive.
This story has made the latest selection at nonais.org (nonais is another group trying to stop a govt program that would require people to tell the govt where their animals are (and thus, them) 24/7. A stupid program that benefits corporate ag on the backs of those who own livestock. Unbelievable!
I just keep thinking what is the reward to our elected officials who support the vegan animal rights social movement and their apparent criminal activity with the RICO lawsuit. That is quite disturbing.
Disgusting—saw the ad in the USA 4/1—
I always give to the local shelters - and
ours here was under very bad management about
2 yrs ago - guy took off w/thousands of dollars
that should have gone towards the housing/feeding of the shelter animals.
So tomorrow my check goes off to the local for
doggie houses and food.
