Persia White

Persia White is an actress, musician, Scientologist, animal rights activist, vegan, and board member of the Humane Society of the United States. She was honored by PETA in 2005 as its "Humanitarian of the Year."

White also sits on the board of the pseudo-pirate group Sea Shepard Conservation Society, popularized in the television show "Whale Wars." Professionally, Persia White is best known for starring in the TV show "Girlfriends."
