Adam Goldfarb is an issues specialist for HSUS's Companion Animals program and the director of the Pets at Risk program.

In a 2009 article on dogfighting that appeared in the Santa Barbara Independent, he said he believed not all pit bulls rescued from such situations can be rehabilitated. You don’t hear so much about the abused and neglected dogs that get euthanized,” he said. “Not all dogs are able to recover from traumatic circumstances.”
