Adam M. Roberts is the executive vice president at Born Free USA, a wildlife-advocacy group based in Washington. He serves on the Board of Directors for HSUS’s “Humane USA” PAC, where he is listed as treasurer, as well as the board of the Species Survival Network. He also is the president of the board of the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries.
Roberts is listed as an organizer for In Defense of Animals' Japan Dolphins Day, an annual event to protest the Japanese dolphin hunt. Before joining Born Free USA, he spent 14 years as an executive at the Society for Animal Protective Legislation and the Animal Welfare Institute.
In 1994, he founded Elect! for Animals, a PAC that aims to put animal-friendly politicians in office.
