Ethan Eddy

Ethan Eddy is a staff attorney at HSUS. In 2007, Eddy claimed that HSUS had "12 full-time litigators and a network of over 200 pro bono lawyers." (HSUS now has at least 30 staff lawyers.) He also has noted HSUS's broad legal program that includes "criminal, administrative, environmental, constitutional, disability, tort, trusts, and international trade law." Eddy has represented HSUS on its multi-party lawsuit against Feld Entertainment (owner of the Ringling Bros. circus) and on separate litigation against the US Secretary of Agriculture over horse slaughter. Before joining HSUS, he worked at the law firm Meyer, Glitzenstein, and Crystal. He graduated from Northeastern University law school in 2005.
