Hillary Twining

Hillary Twining is an Emerging Media Specialist who has worked for HSUS for most of the 2000-2010 decade. She often functions as a paid commenter on blogs and online news sites, as part of HSUS's damage control strategy. Twining's common online avatars are named "Hillary4Animals" and "HillaryHSUS."

Twining also writes for HSUS's publications and its website. Before joining HSUS in September 2008, she worked for the Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey, NH, from August 2006 to August 2008. Twining worked for HSUS in its New England Regional Office from 2000 to 2006. Online records in Rhode Island also describe Twining as being a paid lobbyist on behalf of HSUS in February 2006.

Twining currently lives near Dover, Vermont. She received a Masters Degree in Animals & Public Policy from Tufts University in 1999.
